ATHASIA

‘Athassia’ (which is the word for ‘almond tree’ in the Cypriot dialect) is a 23 sq.m. room that perhaps offers the most privacy of all the rooms. It is situated on the first floor on the corner side of the courtyard away from the main entrance of the guesthouse. The name of the room was given as a reminder of the fact that one of our family’s main agricultural activities used to be the harvesting and trading of ‘athassia’ (which is the word for ‘almonds’ in the Cypriot dialect but with a different intonation than that of ‘almond tree’).

The room opens out to a small balcony with a partial view of the village and the nearby scenery. The room has a double bed and can accommodate up to two people. It also has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and all necessary amenities.
